Ron, Nancy, Debby, Mike ready to begin!

NASHVILLE

There's something about driving into Nashville that sparks warm memory archives that have been closed for years! I grew up in a time when singers and entertainers RULED!  The Grand 'Ol Opry was king long before Elvis Presley wiggled onto the scene. Actually, B.B.KING was the REAL king!  But Minnie Pearl, Grandpa Jones and a host too numerous to name were entertaining in Nashville, Tennessee at the RYMAN AUDITORIUM, host of the Grand 'Ol Opry.

The Opryland Hotel is an amazing place!  It's an extremely large area under a roof.  It is filled with Koi Ponds, waterfalls, fountains, plants and flowers of several types including a tower of Orchids that would make a flower grower's mouth water!
The 3 to 5 star restaurants throughout the complex offered mouth watering foods of all kinds. We decided to feast on Mexican food this night. The food was great, the service was great, the garden-side table was great and their paying our $20 parking fee for us was even greater!
Afew miles down the road we spent the night at the Comfort Inn Suites; swam in the pool, soaked in the hot tub and slept the night away in "comfort".
Life is good!
