They boast being the most "on time" airlines in Europe. You are limited to one carry on, no exceptions. It must meet strict size and weight criteria. Checked baggage costs €15 for 15 kg or €25 for 20 kg. if it is over the weight limit you will pay an additional €60 to €100 to check it through. If its a carry on, it's limited in size to fitting in the tiny luggage check stations at the gate if it's too big to fit, you will pay €60 to check it. In addition, carry on luggage is limited to one piece and weigh 10 kg or less. The weight limit is strictly enforced. If you car.ry a purse or laptop computer, it must fit inside your carry on, thus qualifying for the one carry on limit.
In order to check baggage at the least cost, you must go to Ryan Air's web site and check it in online from between 15 days to 4 hours before the flight. Otherwise, expect to pay €100. If you choose the 15 kg size and decide to change to the 20 kg size after the 4 hour time frame, you will pay €60 or more.
You must print your own boarding pass and bring it with you to check in. If you don't have it printed, Ryan Air can print it for you but it will cost you €28.
One of the unusual sights on our flight was the overhead luggage bins had advertisements on the doors! Funny!
