LOUISVILLE, KY

LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY

Checking out of the Gasthof Inn this morning, we walked nearby to a flea market, that looked more like a store. They had a little of everything but nothing I wanted. Debby bought a couple of things. She had to in order to keep up her image.

We took the back roads to Louisville. It was a beautiful, scenic, part of Indiana. Crossing the Ohio River put us into Kentucky. We took the freeway around Louisville and checked in at The Drury Inn.

Back into the car we headed to the Zachary Taylor Cemetary. Being a shirt tail Great Nephew of our 12th US President, I was interested in seeing his burial place. There were many many white gravestones bearing the names of those military men who died serving in the four wars; WW-1, WW-2, Korea, and Vietnam. It was a very moving sight to see.

  1. Was Zachary Taylor a VERY large man or is that a coffin built for 2? Mona
