LAKE LOUISE

June 24, 2015
LAKE LOUISE

The gorgeous blue water of Lake Louise invites a million tourists every year to come and dip their toes into the cold water or cast their eyes across the pristine beauty to the Victoria Glacier slipping down the side of Victoria Mountain.
This is a very beautiful and popular lake.  Tourists come from all over the  world to play.  In the winter, Lake Louise is perhaps the largest skating rink in Banff National Park.

Today, the sun was shining, it's light danced upon the ripples and wind-blown irregularities of this shimmering, crystal clear lake.  Canoes and kayaks floated effortlessly near Victoria Glacier.
Tourists lined the shore snapping countless photos to help preserve this imprint into their memories.  The cool air and cold water failed to deter some from sitting on the rocks and dipping their feet into the lake.

A tall, colorful, multi-story lodge was full of tourists spending vacations here.  From the small balconies, one could relax and take in all the beauty they could store. This is a gorgeous place.
